“God sees us as we truly are, and He sees us worthy of rescue.”

We are full-time missionaries based in Fort Myers, Florida. We train, lead and launch intimate communities of faith in the U.S. and abroad. Our ministry is found in personalized outreach, real relationships, and devoted discipleship. We are 100% God-funded.
We are friends with the local homeless, un-churched, at-risk and foster youth, those in recovery from human trafficking and addiction, and those in high society places. We are bridge builders between the “haves” and the “have-nots” within our community.
Between the “successful” and the “outcast.”
Between the “clean” and the “messy.”
Between the “loved” and the “abandoned.”
Between the “saved” and the “forsaken.”
We build bridges.
Will you walk across them with us?
1 Corinthians Chapter 13, “The Way of Love”
May the world know Him by our Love.
Blessings, Kalon & Jesus
Our focus is to love others well so that the world may know who Christ is. We strive to minister not in many words but in many deeds and since Covid-19 we spend our days working primarily with the people who will not walk into a church & persecuted Christians abroad. In the past 5 years we have baptized many new believers and continue to walk them through their growth and discipleship within our own cities.
In August 2022, we began to build deep relationships with persecuted Christians in Asia and the Caribbean. Since then, we have regularly visited our brothers and sisters in these two regions to train, build up, and launch communities of home churches and simple churches, as well as helping to create sustainable businesses so that the churches can begin to sustain themselves and flourish under the Lord’s leading.
Lord willing, we will continue to visit both regions this year to encourage the simple churches and further train them in developing communities of faith within their own homes and cultural context.
We do not only minister to the poor, but also to the poor in spirit. “Messy Ministry” is about getting your hands dirty in the messy aspects of humanity, with the difficult people and the uncomfortable problems. Divorce. Suicide. Addiction. Fear. Pride. Privilege.
Homelessness- Over the past 9 years our home has been a stepping stone for others in need of short-term housing, encouragement and help. We also advocate for and teach others how to love the disenfranchised community. We believe the Gospel when Jesus says “Whatever you have done for the least of these, you have done it onto me.”
Godly Counsel- We provide fellowship and counseling for marriages, families, and individuals.
Evangelism- We train fellow believers on how to evangelize to people outside of their comfort zones and how to minister to the practical needs of different people groups.
We were foster parents from 2019 thru 2021, and it opened our eyes to the deep need of hurting children in America. We are active advocates of foster care and at-risk youth, believing that everyone can have a hand in serving the foster care community. Even if you’re not called to have one (or several) in your home, there are many ways you can wrap around families who do! Two great resources to get you started in Florida: One More Child and Children’s Network of SWFL.
Florida ranks as one of the top 3 worst states for sex & labor trafficking. Southwest Florida (where we live) is the worst area of our state. In our ministry we consistently meet women who are being trafficked and are in bondage to this horrible reality. Please pray with us for their freedom!
We partner with and serve on the board of Into The Jordan Ministries, an anti-trafficking organization. We are grateful to fight alongside them here in SWFL!
A natural overflow of our working with people, we host gatherings in our home several days of the week. Our guests have ranged from the homeless to the wealthy, from the community’s leaders to the community’s lost.
At the table we come together to share a meal, find rest and share conversations of the finished work of Jesus Christ. We have seen how this has brought many people to freedom! In 2022, we held over 200 gatherings in our home and served over 5,000 home-cooked meals.
Not only do we open our home, but through these discipling relationships we are teaching and empowering others to do the same. We have found that these simple gatherings move the body of Christ through neighborhoods more intimately and are easily adapted to the needs of the communities surrounding them. The opening up of Christian homes allows safe places for the practice of prayer, worship, scripture reading, love for one another, communion, baptism, giving, deep community, and leadership to develop within each unique context.
